Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd., Pasquale Angelino Zampieri, and Jennifer Lynn Aiken
Issues:Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. (“Wild Grizzly”) applied to be licensed as a wholesaler. In its written submissions, the Authority asserted that Wild Grizzly should be denied a wholesaler licence, due to the past conduct of Wild Grizzly and its owner, Pasquale Angelino Zampieri, as found by the Registrar in Re: Wild Grizzly, Pasquale Zampieri, and Jennifer Aiken (May 10, 2018 and May 31, 2018, Hearing File 18-04-003). The Authority also asserted that Wild Grizzly, Zampieri, and Aiken be banned from making further application to obtain any licence under the Motor Dealer Act (“MDA”). Wild Grizzly, Zampieri, and Aiken did not make a timely request for an oral hearing; and they did not file any submissions in response to the Authority’s reports and allegations in the Hearing Notice.
Outcome:The Registrar found that Wild Grizzly had failed to comply with the Registrar’s and B.C. Supreme Court’s order regarding payment of costs ($11,383.61) to the Authority.
