William (Bill) Kwok is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with extensive financial, business and regulatory experience in the telecommunication, utility, municipal government and non-profit sectors. His financial expertise ranges from audit to accounting operations to financial systems. He has worked with all levels of government, government regulators, first nation as well as consular and elected officials. He has been elected and appointed to a number of boards in addition to numerous working and advisory committees. In addition to his role as VSA Board Treasurer, Bill is currently serving as Chair of the Motor Dealer Customer Compensation Fund Board, Vice-chair and Treasurer of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver and recently appointed by the City of Vancouver, to the Chinatown Legacy Stewardship Group. Bill is also the Director and Principal Consultant of Red Phoenix Consulting Ltd.
His interest with cars started at an early age when he learned to repair and maintain the family car at 14 years. He looks to contribute through financial guidance and strategic leadership for his roles at the VSA.
