Guangbin Yan, is an experienced senior business manager with over 10 years of government experience during her 25-year international career in Canada, Singapore and China. She is the recipient of the 2009 Alberta Premier’s Award of Excellence, in recognition of her leadership managing the LinkAlberta.info Project. Guangbin is a passionate volunteer for 20 years and has been serving as a Board of Directors for non profit organizations since 2009. She is an Appointed Bencher with the Law Society of BC since 2018 and a member of Finance and Audit Committee. She is recently been elected as Director at Large at Taekwondo Canada and served as a member of the Board of Directors in the West Point Grey Community Centre Association for two years.
Guangbin holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s University, a Bachelor of Engineering from the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and a Project Management Professional Certification from Project Management Institute. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
